Panhard, who were by then owned by Citroën, stopped making passenger cars in 1967.
The last model to carry the Panhard name was the 24 which sold only in small numbers, not least because Citroën wanted the production capacity for their own cars and saw no reason to encourage Panhard sales. The 24 was therefore two door only in a market where four doors were becoming increasingly important.
If we look at the rear lights we see that they're unusually contemporary, reminiscent of modern Audis with their strip like brake/tail light and indicator above.
The 24's nearest successor was the Citroën GS which in some respects was the car that Panhard would have wanted to make had they been allowed.

It's like a DS and 2002 had some bizarre love child and it turned out beautiful.
