I just joined the oppo crew! I live in Boulder, CO and I'm studying mechanical engineering here at CU. I work for the bike program at CU as a mechanic, so I have access to a plethora of metric tools that I'll need to work on my 2001 Subaru Outback. My true passion is road cycling. I just bought this outback about a month ago and it'll need a fair amount of parts put into it.

The list includes:

Inner and outer tie rods

Tires

Front wheel bearings

Sway bar bushings

Front windshield

Serpentine belts

And maybe I'll put in a quart of some high performance blinker fluid in there...

One cool thing about Subaru is that you can download all of the official Factory Service Manuals from their website. They do charge for it, but it's $35 for three days of access to the site, during which you can download all the PDFs for the Subarus that you own and/or think you might own someday. They are very detailed and make most jobs very straightforward.

Not at all. Boulder has a Ben & Jerry's at Pearl Street, and in a given year it's often the only chance I get to visit a Ben & Jerry's scoop shop, since the first one in our town goes in in a few months.
