Drew Magary is awesome. Doug DeMuro just wants to rub your face in his car affluence.

He's having fun with his money, and we can all enjoy his antics. Frankly, that's pretty awesome.

I guess if I felt his articles were redeeming enough to make up for the here's another article from Mr. Doug "I need you to know I have more money than you'' DeMuro, that'd be one thing.. but in my opinion they fall short in making up for that. That's just my opinion, yours is just fine too.

Haha. I think maybe you have a complex about the money thing. There's no secret to my financial success; you can do it, too. I don't have rich parents. I don't have an inheritance. There's no trust fund. I work 12 hour days and I haven't taken a weekend in years. I work really hard and I spend a lot of money to share all these ridiculous antics with you guys. I don't understand how anyone could be upset by that.

I suppose I should have done more research before being so critical. What you've done is admirable, and knowing now that you were dealt a crummy hand of cards like the rest of us definitely changes the context in which I originally interpreted your style... Thanks for chiming in. I'll look forward to reading your stuff in the future rather than being a bitter jerk.

Cheers Mr. DeMuro

Doug,

As someone who's graduating from college in the spring and weighing job options, how did you get involved with Porsche NA? I'm not an engineer, but I think I remember you saying that you weren't either. Engineering seems to be the easiest way into most car companies.

Thanks!

Nick
