You have lets say, 13k for a fun ride. Under 100k miles, 2005 or newer. RWD>AWD>FWD for this exercise. Must have 4 doors.

What do you get?

Since the Golf GTI is a 5 door the Octavia will have to do. The green one in particular.

I have a 330i ZHP now, but also have a severe case of automotive ADD. Always thinking about something else.

Not anywhere seriously yet, located in NC. Looking in the general now, make model vs a specific car

Older CTS-V's should be able to be bought around that number with around that amount of miles, wont be easy though

Alternatively, the Volvo S60R fits the criteria pretty well.

Definitely an S2000.

Kinja'd!!!

The 2005 cut off makes it a little more difficult to find one within the price/mileage range, but there are some clean examples out there that meet all your requirements. If you went back to like 2003 or newer there would be a lot of S2000s available, with 50-80k miles.

I have an '09 535 and I'm personally casually looking for the same model. My previous car was an '06 Forester Premium (Non-Turbo) and I want a turbo version badly. It helps that there is an awesome tuning shop here in Buffalo. (Innovative Tuning)

How do you like the 535? I've had several BMWs (on my 4th) and have enjoyed them all. The ZHP is a scapel of a car and is honestly a little "too" much for daily driving, its stiff and very involved to keep it going straight on the highway. A riot on the weekends, a drag during the week if you know what I mean.

I love my 535 xDrive (Non-Sport) and unfortunately with an auto trans. Wish it were a wagon with the sport package. But I do have to say even though it's an automatic transmission, the shifts are quick and seamless.

It's a great sporty family car and the JB4 (Juice Box - Piggyback ECU) livens it up. The AWD system is a ton of fun in the snow and I haven't had any issues even with worn all-seasons in this Buffalo, NY snow.

The enthusiast forums are full of everything you need to keep it up mostly by yourself.
