lol, no there is a LOT of initial D I skip over. music choices long stretches of "deep" dialog, random relationships nonsense, lingering upwards camera panning on every female character.

yes... no...

final stage was really just 4 episodes that follow the final downhill race that was started in 5th stage. And then the last 10 minutes or so is about what they all did "after", moving to pro teams etc.
