Having started off making water mills, coffee grinders and stays for crinoline dresses Peugeot advanced to the bicycle. You can still buy Peugeots although no longer made by the original company.

The first ad shows an address at Avenue de la Grande Armée in Paris. They're still there.

Do Peugeot crinoline stays and coffee grinders come over all greasy and smoky from time to time? Inquiring minds want to know.

The grinders (they still show a design on their website here ) maybe not so much.

The dresses, that'll depend on your imagination.
