I want the Honda to be good, but I never hear good things about it. The front of the RS looks derpy to me, so I'll just get a Golf R.

Completely different cars. However, should the Honda turbo-4 come to our shores, I'd totally lust over a Civic Si.

Honda type R means you would be a Type R owner.

Focus RS owners means having to constantly explain that its actually a good car and what "drift mode does"

Dead on about the RS.

I've had more people than I can count say "you must get awesome gas mileage in your car!" or "a Focus seems a little boring for you." With the RS it would be "why do you have a large plastic wing on your car?"

The Type-R looks too boyracer/Fast&Furious-ish for my tastes. Also, RS sends power to the right wheels half the time (give or take).

So I'd take the RS.

I don't think it will actually be that bad in person. It just looks like a slightly exaggerated version of the one on the ST, which blends in pretty well so the RS one could be noticeable rather than HUGE. Who knows, though?

What do you think the actual power number will be on the R? Because we know it's not just 292.

I'm guessing 315 at the crank.

I'm not sure if they underrate the R, but if the do I'd put it at 330hp.
