Went to pick up oil for the FR-S at a dealership yesterday. I saw this at the parts counter.
Why is the FR-S keychain the only one that's not fancy? Do they think it appeals to millenials or something?
Well, fuck you too, Toyota.
At least I've got fresh oil in my car now. I went to the Subaru dealership around the corner to pick up the oil filter. Turns out the BRZ filter is a bit taller than the Toyota one.

This is the one I have for my BRZ. I like it because it's simple. Also its the only thing on the key ring besides the key, I keep all my house stuff on a separate ring.

Looks nice. I got the black one of these. I do the same, just this and the car key on one ring

I basically have the same keychain as you. So far it seems pretty high quality.

Please meet my Key Chain. Only has one key on it. Handed down by my dad. Given to him by an uncle who went to a concert in the 80s.
slightly bent. Gauge cable for a chain after the goose neck cable broke. I will actually kill over it.
You're welcome.

When I owned my B-bodies I would use 2WD truck filters instead of car filters cause they were twice the size.

But the FR-S and the BRZ are the exact same car... I'm not sure why the filters are different. The collective wisdom of the gt86 forums convinced my to try the subaru one

My thinking is that Toyota didn't want to stock a different filter and just assigned it the closest match, with Subaru stocking the same filter for almost everything.

This is the official keyring where I live:
I don't mind it, but I still think I prefer some of the third-party options:

At least that looks decent
