Odd question, but do JDM e46 m3's come with rear wipers? I know rear wipers are a JDM standard, its a popular mod that Subaru guys want but rarely get. Just wondering if the cars exported to japan have rear wipers installed or if there was some work around that didnt require them?

What I want to know is why cars over here don't have them!

I completely agree, I just posted on the Torch article yesterday, but here it is coppied and pasted.
Honestly, I'd be happy if sedans had mandated rear windshield wipers, like the JDM market. It irks me that we have 3 things pointing behind us to reference, yet the main rearview mirror we use, is useless in inclement weather.
Sure you can rainex the rear windshield, and you can use your defrosters to steam weather away, but it cannot be that expensive to grab something from the van and suv parts bin and toss it on to sedans.
Lets face it, the rear windshield is a relative dead area for airflow, so in inclement weather, for the first few miles, you usually cannot see crap out of the back of your car.
