IMAGE HOW NOT BUYING THIS WILL HAUNT YOU FOR THE REST OF YOUR DAYS! nightly visits from the ghost of deVille that could have been! creeping, clawing, scratching at your soul from the black abyss as you lie awake crushed beneath of your own guilty conscious. lack of sleep and burdened with remorse your life falls apart, those who loved you move on, pushed away by a wall of isolation you built to hid your shame. Jobs fall apart as your fail to preform. Not buying this deville could kill you!

The owner is a dj, used to scratch for a rap group she managed in the 80's. He now mainly produces indie movies by young up and coming black filmmakers.

So I guess this would be less "pimp" and more "baller".

Buy it and sell off the Vogues. And put some proper OEM wheels on it with fat whitewalls.

Kinja'd!!! Your boy, BJR > Zohaibman72

literally the only thing I'd change would be the hood ornament. Needs a 1931 Cadillac goddess on the hood.

Kinja'd!!! Your boy, BJR > Stapleface-Now Hyphenated!
02/26/2015 at 09:18

Kinja'd!!!1

Why would I sell the Vogues? Seeing as they created the fuckin' things, it doesn't get more proper whitewall than that.

I couldn't think of any wheels&tires I'd replace 'em with that'd be cheaper than just keeping what's on it.

Kinja'd!!! crowmolly > Your boy, BJR
02/26/2015 at 09:29

Kinja'd!!!0

Gotcha. Wasn't sure if it was a $1000+ package that you could pawn off and just run cheap wheels for a little while, just to "get the title in your hand" so to speak.

Kinja'd!!! bob and john > Your boy, BJR
02/26/2015 at 09:33

dont do delivery anymore?

also, would it REALLY by that much worse then your caddie? this one is older and MUCH easier to fix. more reliable. classy AF, bigger trunk...

Kinja'd!!! Your boy, BJR > crowmolly
02/26/2015 at 09:35

Kinja'd!!!0

it's probably got around $3,000 of wheels and tires on it, but then again, so would what I'd replace I with. (Big vogues and true spokes are the opposite of cheap

Quitting a job to buy a car is a RETARDED idea.

I highly doubt that 2nd half. It's a 43 year old car. Parts won't be cheap, reliability won't be better than what I'm driving now.

And no way in fuck will that get better than 15-17mpg city.

Kinja'd!!! bob and john > Your boy, BJR
02/26/2015 at 09:41

more: buy car, get job that doesnt require so much use of said car.

parts cheap...you over estimate that. it IS just a bog old american boat. I was AMAZED at how cheap stuff was for cletus's 69 newport

Seeing as I live in reality, only way I'd buy it is for a 2nd car.

As I have no money/space for it, it makes nice daydream fodder.

Im gonna wait until I get out of college to buy a 2nd car.

Kinja'd!!! crowmolly > bob and john
02/26/2015 at 09:50

Kinja'd!!!0

Parts will be expensive when they are brand/chassis specific. If he needs spark plugs or quadrajet parts then no big deal.

If he needs things specific to a Cadillac engine or to the car itself it gets pricey.

They didn't put the 472 or 500 in anything other than a caddy, unlike a SBC 350 or a Chrysler 318/383.

No. No they wouldn't. A car like that needs chrome 20s or bigger and Vogues.

First of all, living is reality is terrible. Don't do that. Second of all, that thing has like $2 worth of wheels/tires on in. Third of all, the car is $2k, which is stupidly inexpensive for what it is if it drives well. Fourth of all, baller status.

You can do this, Ben. Take it from someone with two cars he cannot afford.

I once quit a good summer job to go to a rock concert with friends when I was younger. I would not recommend that to anyone, but it's pretty hilarious looking back now that I'm married. This car is his rock concert!

Kinja'd!!! Mattbob > Your boy, BJR
02/26/2015 at 10:51

get it and sell the wheels to put one something cheaper on tires. You would make the car a cheaper purchase and make the tires cheaper at the same time. BAM, purchase justified.

True, but you don't need to make it any worse. Besides, big ass wheels=more unsprung weight=more shit breaks quicker.

But everyone likes their own thing. I hate big wheels. Hell, I don't like that my current car came with 17s lol

I'd pick it up in a heartbeat, put OEM-ish wheels/whitewalls on it, and cruise around in luxury and 9mpg.
