So I've got a 210 wagon that's... well it's a project. It's a brown, manual Jalopnik special, but it's also broken. Anyway, I'm always looking for inspiration to go work on it, so here are some of the purty pitchas I've collected of my car's lighter, smaller, cuter, less 80's grandfather.

this is perfect. My goal is to find a nice 510 to do an sr20 swap. Maybe in a year or so.

Yeah I want to put a KA or an SR20 in mine eventually (KA because cheap and available) just to get it to modern daily driver power levels. The stock A14 made a questionable 80hp when new haha

Great choice. The KA engines are stronger then most give it credit.

Yeah for sure, little heavier than the SR, and not that powerful stock... but theres a lot of bolt ons available, lots of cheap parts in junkyards, and they can take a lot of boost on stock internals if you want to go that way.

Also, the KA out of a 240 bolts up to the stock mounts in a 210, and the 5 speed fits in the transmission tunnel. No cutting or welding at all. Easy swap, not that any swap is ever easy haha.

Yeah, gotta love platform sharing. The swap is just replacing the stock X member with one from a 200SX (bolts to the same place, but clears the KA oil pan) and replacing the motor brackets with the 240 ones, again, they bolt to the same spot.

Even crazier, the rear axle and diff bolt right in as well, and you can replace struts and hubs with 200SX ones for wider track and bigger brakes.

Literally the only fab work is a slightly different trans mount, and a hole in the trans tunnel because the shifter is a bit further back.
