I showed the car today. It acted... special. Shifts were rough, but still better than usual. Lady offered me $1400 but cannot close until Friday. I have two showings scheduled tomorrow which I did tell her about. One guy said if he likes it, he'd give me a $500 deposit and the rest of the money by next Tuesday. No word on the other. I also have three others on standby who are waiting to hear what happens... By the looks of things, this car will be gone by this weekend. This makes me quite happy.

And yes I did. It was really awesome and just a total time capsule. I just don't know if I A) really need another car right now and B) If I want to jump right into something

However, if I sell the V70R for only $1400 it seems like a terrible loss. But if I can take that money and get the 240, it seems more like a trade and much easier to swallow

I guess it depends on what you would rather do with your money.

If you enjoy doing some wrenching for fun and owning a cool-to-you car at the expense of the practicality/economy of a new car, the 240 might be a nice investment.

If you'd rather spend your money on booze/bitches/whatever you'd probably enjoy the money more, even if it comes as a loss in terms of your total investment in the R.
