Finally got a nice sealed up exhaust system on the Civic, so I took a video! Ignore the smoke. It's probably bad, but ignore it anyways.
Huge thanks to Jayhawk Jake for giving me his Sanic's old performance exhaust. Despite the way the video makes it sound, the car really isn't all that loud even at 5 grand.

Sounds like my approach to my motorcycle...

That doesn't sound bad at all! Not what I was expecting it to sound like, thank you 'Murica! Strange to say, it doesn't sound like a Honda to me anymore, which is awesome.
What's the piping like from the Sonic's exhaust compared to the Civic's exhaust? Is the piping any bigger or smaller? Also, that squeak at the start, what was that?

Ahhh yes. The sound of a stock, non-vtec Honda 4 cyl from a four-door sedan played through a performance muffler. That brings me back. Back to 2004 and the cars spawned by a certain Vin Diesel movie.

The squeak was my door. The exhaust... well, you don't want to see under the car. I cobbled it together from pipe that was lying around my friends shop, and a LOT of filler welding was necessary to get the different sizes to play nice with each other. When I have the spare dough I'll cut it all back out from underneath the car, the muffler and resonator to a shop and have them build me something a bit more substantial.
HFV has no HFV. But somehow has 2 motorcycles

Cylinder 2 basically has a gap around it the size of the gap between the earth and the moon.

Oh c'mon, it couldn't be that bad. Maybe it even gives it a unique sound with all that different sized piping, it's nowhere near as bad as the dangling mufflers and melted cats of the rusty beater Caddys of the D. :p
But if there's more to come with the exhaust this should be interesting. How are you liking the car so far?

Behold.
And I'm loving it. Small light cars are amazing.

Much filler welding indeed, but definitely not that bad all, I'd be content with that. The positioning of the muffler is weird to me though.
Small light cars are very awesome! Fun driving them fast to the ragediest edge if possible; so tossable and nimble as well.
