This is what it felt like in my car when I got in. It was so cold over night that my gauge cluster's plastic cover frosted up. So here are some cars that are a bit warmer, add any you'd like in the comments.
An Audi two days after it's warranty expired
Cops need to stay warm in these arctic conditions too.
Stay warm Oppo, I hope your heaters are as good as these.
Edit: Added Peugeot on fire, thank you Clarkson.

I believe when I left my house a few hours ago, it was -2-0F. To clarify I'm in southwest Ohio, I know it is much colder elsewhere.

I spilled a few drops of coffee on my center console and it immediately froze so I couldn;t wipe it off

That is terrible. What frozen hellscape are you in?

This winter has been brutle on the East coast cold wise. Last year was bad with snow, but not this cold.
But I would much rather have the cold than the snow personally

I was going to post a picture of Jeremy's Peugeot on fire but I couldn't find any so I gave up.

A little south of Boston, home of 10' snow banks.

I agree, the midwest has been getting slapped in the face with the cold. I much prefer it over the snow as well, you can drive in it and people don't freak out about it.

Oh christ, you poor schmuck.
I personally don't worry until snow is over a foot, but people were freaking out over the 6" we got on Saturday morning. Roads were cleared by 4pm, but the grocery stores were still swamped.

I totally forgot about that. I may hunt one down.

Check the post again in a minute. I found one.

haha when we were told to expect 2-3 feet, people went nuts. No milk to be found, Bud Light was just as scarce (I went with wiskey) at this point I think 6" is just a coating.

Damn, well at least you got whiskey. I personally prefer that over anything Bud or any beer that comes in a 12 pack. Plus it'll make you feel warm as you freeze to death.
People here tend to generally freak out if 3" are predicted, it is frankly quite sad when it gets much worse further north and closer to Lake Erie. At this point, 6" is a coating compared to 10' banks.

Brilliant!

I'm sure it was staged but it would be funny if that could actually happen in a shitty little Peugeot.

Yeah I'm pretty sure he would not drive around in a car that was actually on fire.

I know. We are supposed to be just south of the rustbelt but we are getting some brutal winter weather this last week. I street park and pulling out of the slush formed to ice mix feels like this

My heat in my car is good at idle and parked but for some reason when I get on the highway the temperature dips.

I have gone through the same. I'm considering getting out the metal shovel and clearing my parking spot when I get home from class. The frozen slush/snow is not fun in my Stratus.

it takes desperate times (or it being free) for me to drink Buds. We have a lot of local brewery's which put out good 12's liek Sam Adams, Hapoon, Wachusett, but my favorite is from PA - Troegs. I'm also a big fan of Amaretto.

My heater has never been great, especially this winter. It takes a ridiculous amount of time to warm up whether its parked/idle or driving.

I tried clearing mine with my plastic shovel but even when it was mostly thawed on Sunday I could only do so much.

I too enjoy Sam Adams, it and Blue Moon are the most commonly available brands of beer my family buy. My stepdad and I tend to get uncommon stuff most often, we have a couple great grocery stores that have big build your own 6 pack coolers and shelves. Plus a few local breweries popping up that are very good, including at my favorite Warped Wing. I generally prefer whiskey or scotch over most other liquor.

I didn't even start my car Sunday, I stayed in and melted my brain with microeconomic theory half the day and Daytona 500 the other half. I was extremely annoyed when it felt like I was offroading last night pulling in after work.

Might be time to replace the heater core.

Don't say that. I don't want to attempt to dive into more of this stunning Chrysler engineering.
I plan on unloading it this summer and getting a G8, maybe a Magnum(I'm aware its another Chrysler and Grabow's saga with his), or similar (4 doors and a decent NA motor).

Well, Chrysler is Ferrari now :p
