I just spotted !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! on my local craigslist. The seller really likes to have their dog stand on its back legs in front of this car. I'm all like "DAWW LOOK AT THE DOGGIE" which is a good way to distract from the fact that this is a '74 instead of the good C3 years of '68-'72.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
The seller isn't satisfied with just one picture of the dog standing in front of the car. Oh no. There are more.
Judging by the color and sharpness of these photos, which look like they were taken on film, I'm going to wager a guess that they are not at all recent.
I wonder how many doggie treats the seller went through to take these pictures.

Morbid thoughts: it's been so long, the dog has died since those photos were taken, but it got stuffed to look exactly like that still, because it's lifelike that way.
Non-morbid thoughts: Hey, I kind of like the '73, because the important part of the early C3 is the tail. Once you've lost that, you've lost everything.

A digital camera challenged seller could be bad or good. Good if they have maintained the car well. Bad if they are covering for the car sitting, non-running, outside under a tree for the last 10 years...

I had a similar thought about the dog.
The '73 is half ok since it has half as many chrome bumpers as the '68-'72.
Horsepower was already declining in '73 though.

They have newer pictures that look like they were taken with a digital camera (or phone). But you're right, the car has been sitting for a while. From the post:
Has sat in my garage for many years with no use except for occasionally starting the engine to let idle. So over the years of sitting the brake caliper pistons seem to have frozen up. Brake caliper work is the only work this car is needing. No dents, no scratches, no rips, no tears, no accidents, no problems except for brakes, all stock except for the rims.

I am a big C3 apologist but even I can't defend the rear bumper cover.

Holy crack pipe he wants $29k? I love a c3, but that is pretty unrealistic. It is a nice car but not $29k nice.

It's a surcharge for getting the dog to stand up like that.
