I never liked this car and I still don't, but from the cheapest car you could buy it has now become something quite interesting and I'll tell you why.

It doesn't look boxy and cheap anymore, it looks like a proper supermini.

Maybe a bit too heavy on the plasticky sporty bits . But a definitive improvement over the old model.

Hmmm awful.

It has a proper modern Fiat interior just like the 500L or the Ram Prolapse Urban Delivery thing. Glossy materials, sat-nav and red accents to make it faster.

It comes with that weird Dualogic 5-Speed Paddle Shift only transmission that is probably going to fail within a few years of ownership.

This is the sea of plastic old interior, see, massive improvement.

It has a 1.4 I4 flex fuel engine that produces 85HP on petrol or 88HP on ethanol. 0-60 is done in 11.5 mind bending Sporting seconds.

Head-aching Fuel saving Star-Stop technology is standard and so is this little info display thing.

You can fit a small amount of things on the back if you want to.

It can't be yours because it is only sold in South America for the stupid price of $15,000 (Why is it blue now?)

I really don't like it. Looks like a Panda and Soul (both cars I do like) drank too much tequila and banged one out. Panda wanted to keep it and the Soul said no way it's mine - but those tail lights say otherwise.

I wonder why its 1.4 only makes 85 horses when my 500's 1.4 makes 101. Bit odd.

They have different tunes probably for emissions, they sell a 77hp 1.4 here in the Punto.

Looks like some kind of mixture of the European Panda, 500 and Grande Punto (Punto EVO).

A bit heavy on the "sporty" details on the bumpers (both front and rear), but not bad overall. I would rather take a Punto with a nice set of wheels, though.

I'm no stance guy, but that wheel gap needs to be halved. If it's for developing countries without a fully paved road network then I get why they did it, but without such a backdrop it just looks silly.

There are some aspects of the Sporting version's styling I like (the red grille edges are kinda cool and I like the wheels), but overall it's unspectacular at best. I appreciate that it's nice for an Uno but I don't wish it was being sold in the UK by any means...

Actually, the Star-Stop system is only available in the non-sporting 1.4 version. And also, sat-nav is not even an option.

And A/C just become a standard feature recently, so a few months ago, this "sporting" "automatic" version got to coast up to US$17k without a freaking air conditioner.

Yours have the 1.4 16v Multiair, while this one is a outdated 1.4 8v.

Are you sure? I checked the Fiat website before writing this, Satnav was an option and the Start-stop was standard on all models. Pricing was at BR$39,000 for the Auto sporting.

Me too, maybe the 1.4 Turbo. But I would never buy a new Fiat, I'd rather spend that money on a 2000's BMW V8.

I'm pretty sure about the Start-stop. It's only available in the "1.4 Lancer Evolution" version. The sat-nav is appearing to be a dealer accessory, because it doesn't show in between the optionals in the configurer.

And the thing about the price... other day I saw a test drive video on Youtube, the car they were driving had a BR$47k price tag, and it didn't had A/C.

You can see the prices in their configurer . It coasts a bit more than that because of the IPI raise thing. It's 28k for the base (which is actually the pre-facelift model) and up to 41k to this Sporting (without optionals).

The one in the video that I saw, was a Sporting with many option but A/C, that's why it costs 47k. But now, like I said, almost every Fiat car has A/C standard.
