It disappeared last year with the facelift:
But is now back in all its glory on the front wings where it belongs!
All is right with the world. After all what's the point of buying a Quadrifoglio Verde if you don't get the cloverleaf badge?

Now, no front plate.

I wish these were better cars, they're so nice looking.

They're not terrible if you don't want an ultra sharp hot hatch and prefer something comfortable. There were reliability issues, but most of them have been solved by now. Early ones suffered from terrible manual gearboxes (they're now automatic only) and turbos that wear out very quickly (that was corrected with a firmware update that limited the overboost). By now it's age that's Giulietta's biggest issue.

Wonder if they'll ever offer this car in US America? One can dream ....

I've heard ride comfort and refinement is actually one of their worse attributes.

It's actually the opposite. Stick the car in normal mode, and while it's not going to be exciting it'll get you where you need to be in decent comfort. When it first came out it was quite possibly the most comfortable hot hatch available.
Of course all of that applies as long as you didn't get ridiculously big wheels for it and stay away from dynamic mode which makes throttle response stupidly twitchy.

Fair enough. A more pedestrian diesel Giulietta is within reach for when I replace my car. I doubt I could trust the reliability though.

I wouldn't buy one simply because it's a 2010 car that wasn't astonishingly brilliant even when it first came out. It may have been refreshed last year but there are so many better compacts on the market these days.
Alfa really should hurry up and bring us a successor.

Well I'd be buying used anyway, likely at least a 5 year old example. This is one of those cars I'd think about buying a lot, but would never actually buy.

I agree.
The car may not be hugely unreliable overall, but they did screw up a bunch of details. For example when buying a new Giulietta it's wise to get some silicone and apply it onto the rear wiper gasket. Otherwise you're going to have water getting into the rear hatch (and potentially boot) and ruining the electrics. The lights (both front and rear) are also prone to getting flooded inside. The shifter knob falls apart (splits in half) because it's made from terrible plastic, the Bluetooth system freezes up notoriously. The diesel injectors occassinally freeze up and force you to unhook the battery to free them up. Manual gearboxes felt so terrible that there was a recall (that fixed bugger all in terms of smoothness and 1st not wanting to engage). Those may not be massive issues but they kinda make you think that they may have cocked up something major as well.

That's enough to put me off to be honest. Im surprised a largeish car company released such a glitchy car this modern.
