109 Series II according to the plate on the "dash". The Wikipedias says it's between 1958-1961.

Series II? No. Not with that firewall and grill. It's a III. As a side note, his front door tops are a new kind that's now available, without a steel frame - all tig-welded aluminum. They're awesome.

The grill is the easy tell: plastic horsecollar-with-wings-shaped abomination = III, fender lights and big plus shape is a late IIa, and upside-down "T" is a II or early IIA. Or a I, but they have flat sides and look way more primitive. No easy way to tell between a II and early IIA without looking at the steering links, except that most IIs have a flat front apron in front of the grill and most IIas are curved.

If someone is fucking around and playing mix'n'match, you look at the firewall. On this one, the windshield hinges are on the front face, blocky lil' stubs. III without question.

I took a closer look as we were leaving today (I carpool in the silver Dart parked in front of the Landy), and it does indeed say Series III.
