Oppo car hack: Washer fluid tube.
have you ever had your crappy old brittle OEM washer fluid line snap in the cold? Stop by your local hobby shop and grab some fuel line for an RC car or airplane. Plug and play, infinitely pliable, never get snapped again.

Not yet. But they freeze all the time. Damn it.

I made this change awhile ago because I run pure gasoline as washer fluid.

One match and all the ice on the windshield is melted!

I prefer white gas or hobby fuel, but that's just me.

I just top it off when I go to the pumps. Much easier that way.

That would be much more convenient and probably slightly less dangerous than carrying around a spare gallon of white gas in the car.

I have a secondary line running from my wiper fluid to the drivers seat.

diesel fuel is a fantastic cleaning agent. It was literally the main thing we used to clean to stuff with out on the rigs.

Much higher freeze point though.
