I think it's been long enough to empty your tanks, so it's time to spill the beans!

Kinja'd!!!

I got 333.1 miles on 13.5 gallons, or an average 24.6 mpg.

As I explained with my 70% city/30% highway commute, I calculated I had to beat 20.3 mpg. So I did 21.2% better than my EPA number.

And for the record, it was like being in jail. I had reason to blow off a lot of steam last week, and nursing the M3 home after work every day was torture.

So, how did everybody else do?

Highway miles, I get about 500 miles on 13 gallons, so about 38.46 mpg highway.

City miles, I get about 210 miles on 13 gallons, so about 16.13 MPG.

I'm not making these numbers up.

Just filled up earlier today with an apparent 26.9657 mpg. That's about 2 higher than usual, so yay!

18.47MPG over 219 miles and 11.857 gal. The cold is a bitch, also car was in the shop for a day in between.

Its a little on the low side currently, but until the weather warms up it probably wont improve much. New motor does run really smooth though. By the summer it should be near/over 20.

358.3/13.11=27.33.

I usually get around 30-31. Winter gas sucks.

I think I did around 340 miles when I filled up yesterday, put over 11 gallons in, averaged 26 something MPG. Been letting my car warm up in the mornings, and have been spending too much time idling in the school parking lot.

That, plus shit WI winter blend gas. I'll be back in the ~30 range come spring.

When I tried for good MPG's I dropped down to about 17. Which is worse than my EPA number of around 18 (Roughly 50/50 highway/city). Normal driving, I managed to hit around an average of 18.5-19, which is slightly higher than the EPA number. The 3.0L V8 in the BMW is incredibly inefficient.

on the highway, 17 mpg, rated at 19, in the city 11, rated at 14 mpg, thats what I get normally.
