The reasons should be obvious.

does that mean I can start doing Montego Mondays?
To be fair to the game that's a 68 Torino GT 390 big block parked next to me:

For the record, above I wanted to pick the first one as my favorite, but the truth is - shaker hood is best hood.

Love Torinos...
I wish there were an ideal one...
The front of a 70-71, with the full-width spear-point sided grille,
but the back half of the 72-73 sports roof.
except with the '70-71 full width Torino GT tail light, and the less massive rear bumper.
Add to that a modern panther front suspension transplant, and an independent rear suspension (9" custom IRS, or an SVT Cobra 8.8" sub-frame IRS transplant), and a Coyote crate motor... and we'd really be in business.
Previous S197 Mustangs have had retro-fit body kits to replicate older mustangs... I wonder if a 2015 Mustang could be re-styled to have 70/71 Torino GT style front full width grille and horizontal bar tail light assembly. Probably not enough demand to do it... but one can wonder.
