Misinformation all around. These are simply the staging areas before the dealers being overrun during the global downturn. Manufacturing didn't decrease quickly enough to match the supply.

Bullshit from one end to the other.
All the pictures taken at ports are cars waiting to be shipped out to other countries, or recently offloaded and waiting to be loaded on car transports to be taken to dealerships.
Most of the rest are from during the economic collapse of 2008 when everyone suddenly stopped buying new cars, so production outstripped demand for a while. Eventually all the cars were sold and production & sales got back in sync.
Want proof? This photo claims to show new unsold cars at the port of Baltimore:
Both what you linked to and the page that site links to claim this is a recent photo(2014/2015), but those are all 2nd generation Dodge Durangos , which were sold from 2004-2009. So either a random website is lying, or these have been sitting for 5-6 years and yet still look shiny new with no dirt, grime, flat tires, etc.

This was extensively covered on the front page, it's completely BS.

I refuse to google an answer until this has somehow been tied to a conspiracy by the government. Preferably with a Thanks Obama gif attached.
