My wife doesn't drive, but if she learns and we get her a car. I'm thinking 240 wagon with Vette wheels.... I think she wants a Lexus SUV.... we need to work on that.

Ha, one thing she wants is an area the dogs can see out of, I told her these are great for that. There is a guy at my C&C that swaps newer turbo Volvo motors into older wagons, I could ask him about that stuff. I saw a 760 turbo intercooled wagon the other day, thats cool too.

It'll take some convincing probably, but she'll learn to embrace the wagon.
It has such a stigma from the past, but seriously, it's way better than an SUV. Safer, easier to drive around in, and more comfortable. I completely agree with a 240 wagon or thereabouts. Not quite so troublesome as the newer ones can be, and it's paired with absolutely beautiful timeless looks of the brick. I don't agree on the part of the 'vette wheels, but that's purely preferential.

Growing up my dad had several 240's. I kept telling him they would look great lowered, but for some reason he never listened to me. Now the young whippersnappers have inherited the bricks from their parents, I have been proven right.
You could also do this to it, if your wife would like to embarrass supercars on her daily commute.

Get the 240, or a 740 or a 940. Be happy.
Or, you could get her one of the early Lexus SUVs... Whichever one was a '90s Land Cruiser with a Lexus badge and hand her the keys to it. Or just a Land Cruiser.
Land Cruisers and Volvo wagons are awesome. Enough said.
