Why do you have so many laptops?

(It's really Nibby's picture. They all run Windows 98 or something.)

100? Where did you find a 100 GB hard drive? Sounds so weird, like a 33" television.

XD (teasing you!)

That's the drive it came with.

At least ThinkPads don't take up too much space. Could be worse...

...much worse.

I'd actually like to have either one of those, but I need to spend money on more grown-up things first. Besides, I currently have 6 or 7 laptops as it is. Plus I own a computer repair shop that has 6 for sale, plus a half dozen that need repair before I can sell them.

I just want to pick up something older with a decent video card to play XP-era games on, and either of those would do the job nicely. But my conscience says 'not until I take care of some other expenses.' Being a grownup sucks.

Is that collecting or borderline hoarding?

Probably the latter.

They both run XP great, but it would be a bit of a shame to run XP on the EliteBook

Actually, when I get myself a gaming laptop, I'll be triple-booting it XP Pro x86, Win 10 x64, and (when it's released) Steam OS. Most of the games I play are old, but occasionally something good will pop up in a humble bundle, so I'll definitely want to be multi-booting it. I really should go bigger and get something made for gaming, but realistically, the games I play would do just as well on something a little slower.
