Start doing your damn homework! Unless you are intentionally trolling us.

2zz ge in the Celica gts is mechanically identical to the Lotus 2zz ge.

I have a random cross-reference question for you... I know people put the 16v B234 heads on the 8v B230 blocks as well as the Ford 2.3L out of rangers/mustangs/xr4ti/turbo coupe... does this mean I can probably put a roller cam head out of a ranger on my B230 block? Also... What about a set of flat top turbo pistons out of a turbo coupe in there? I'm asking for.... reasons.

they would for sure be modified because these are 2 guide holes machined on the B230 block among other things. I've never heard of the Ford setup. I'm sure it can be done, doubt it would just line up but i've never seen the Ranger head or would know if there would be slack in the timing belt exceeding the tensioner.

There are many reasons that I don't find RCR to be as good as everyone seems to think it is, and factual errors are one of them.

I think that is actually the point of RCR though. It isn't as much a review, as it is Mr. Regular rambling.

Except they're not exactly 100% the same. Lotus tuned their engines a bit differently so it isn't really the same run-of-the-mill 2ZZ engine found in the Celica.

99% because of the plastic engine cover piece and some re mapping :]

That still doesn't make it the same.

Did you see the Ford F150 video where he confuses locking hubs with a locking differential? At least the Celica video had a retraction on the engine thing.

I like his videos though, but if he had even asked the owner of the truck, I'm sure he would have been set straight.
