Lorenzo Bertelli got his car stuck in a snowbank during Rally Sweden, and it really showed just how much travel those suspensions have. The front tire, presumably having found a hole hidden beneath the snow, has disappeared straight down below the level of the snowbank. When I watched it on my phone I initially thought his wheel had somehow come off. I wonder what the official suspension travel of these cars is.

Here's the full video:

looking at the suspension droop I thought for sure they'd lost the wheel. cool video. 2wd rally does not look like too much fun in snow

What it is is the best rally team name ever.

Especially when the car wasn't designed to be 2 wheel drive. They lost the rear driveshaft halfway through the day. It probably contributed to the spin, and definitely contributed to not being able to back out of the snow

yes I suspect some VERY confused diffs trying to send power to all the wrong places.
