I just got Gran Turismo 6, and when I first put the disc in it wanted to download updates. Fine. Problem is, now it won't install the updates. Every time I try to go into the game it says "something went wrong during installation" and it starts over. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the update, but no dice. Anyone else have this problem?

Edit: this is on a PS3.

The problem is you don't have an Xbox ;)

Nah, JK. Try removing all data (if any) from GT6 from your hard drive and try again.

Try clearing out some of your data on the hard drive, it might be running out of space when trying to install.

I doubt we have anywhere near too much data, or at least I would hope not. We are only occasional gamers, and only have 4 or 5 games worth of data saved.

Yeah, that doesn't sound right. I had some problems installing GT6 too but it was a while ago and I can't remember how I fixed it. It is a resource hog though.

It took about 9 hours on mine to download and I have a rather good internet connection speed. Start it before you leave for work.
