Oppo Redesigned

I spent the past hour or so plus maybe another hour from yesterday conjuring up what Oppo might look like with some of Google's Material Design. Why? Because boredom and what is Valentine's Day.

Anyway, I guess I'll explain the stuff.

I wasn't too sure about what to color the header and new post button (bottom right), so I pretended that the design takes the "average" color of the blog's logo and applies it in those areas.

As for everything else, they're not much different. It's still laid out the same way, so if such a design were to take place, it shouldn't(?) be too hard to apply. And no one would complain about it, including myself. The promotion stuff is just for fun, and a throwback to the pre-Kinja days.

I'm trying to picture Jalopnik back before the 17 redesigns and such. I remember around this time, bluish grey.

Very nice! I remember having to go to the Canadian site when they would change something and it was a cluster fuck. Oh the good ol days, Kinja is the new overlord, all hail Kinja. Jalopnik 17.0
