Damn, they know how to tempt me to do bad things.
This thing is extraordinary. Six wheels, two engines, no windscreen.

And then there's this. A six-wheeled kit car designed by William Towns, no less.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
It's a tad dilapidated, making it look more like a cross between a popemobile and a hearse:
In the right condition it looks... better?

#1 Makes me want to grow a 'stache.
#2 Made me throw up a little in my mouth.

#1 - I'm glad that wasn't just me.
#2 - There are more pics on GIS, and in decent condition they look, er, interesting. There seem to have been a few variations on the basic theme, some of which worked better than others.
This one seems a bit lower, but maybe it's just a squished picture:
And in this pic it almost works, has a touch of the original Rangey about it.

The lower roof line definitely helps.
I don't know....six wheels is cool...popemobiles are definitely not cool...

Yeah, it's not a great look. I'm not quite sure, but from what I was seeing just now on Google I think it's designed for hunting from in the back, or some such, So it's from the same school that brought us stuff like these:

That makes a lot more sense. Also, the pool ladder on that Range Rover is the perfect touch.

Oh yes, definitely, I missed that. But it's not a pool ladder, not with that much money. :)

What's going on here? It seems to be a different configuration from the one in the old photo.

Sorry, I have no idea. All I know about the car is from five minutes' googling. If you do work it out, let us know :)

#1 - Looks like a Hot Wheels come to life.
#2 - Should have been an original Jurassic Park prop vehicle, imo.
