Well, even in my limited time living here, I have noticed the air is less than fresh. That being said, from what I observe the plurality of vehicles that fall under this new regulation are old delivery vans and work trucks. It would make more sense to craft more specific regulation that doesn't include cars made before 1985 or something like that. Most vehicles that age are past their useful lifespan for those purposes, so extending it to all old cars is really just unnecessarily punishing the relative small number of enthusiasts running classic cars.

Unfortunately, public transit is already pretty robust and the city is doing is a lot to encourage electric cars and that sort of thing, so I can see how they don't have many other options. They should still make some sort of classic exemption though.
