I can't with the QOTD answers today.

Sure, lets deport all SUVS, large crossovers, small crossovers, hybrids, basically all small economy cars that aren't the Ford Fiesta.. the list of stupid answers goes on.

Of course, the SUVs and crossovers had only the explanations of "THEY KILLED OUR PRECIOUS WAGONS!" or "I thing they're stupid and ugly and pointless and anyone that drives them is stupid and I'm sooooo fun a parties."

Hybrids... well I didn't really see any explanation associated with them. I assume because they're too "boring" for us Jalops. Even though hybrid tech is quite possibly the most interesting thing to happen to cars since electronic ignition and turbo/supercharging.

In other words, take all the most popular models off American roads because they're too big and bulbous or boring. Everyone should be driving Ford STs and Miatas and Volvo wagons, because those are Jalop dammit!

Of course, there were a couple I agreed with. Mostly the 5GT and Smart Car. The 5GT is just ugly and the Smart Car just honestly doesn't make a lot of sense in our country of wide expanses of land and cheap gas.

Yeah, this QOTD in particular seems to be bringing a lot of dullards out of the woodworks today. I had three suggestions which I think kind of make sense. The aforementioned Smart ForTwo, The VW Routan (just buy a Caravan for cheaper), and the current gen Scion Xb (because it's terrible and the JDM Bb is a better car).

The Morono CrossCabrio is actually the closest think I can think of. Or maybe the two door evoque. Neither are close though.

I originally thought Evoque, but the Mini is a good bit cheaper and not as nice inside at all.

But, it's the only other 2door hardtop crossover thing out there. At least in America.

I suggested the K900, because given the habits of America's luxury buyers a juiced up Kia would never sell here... and it hasn't. Kia made a mistake trying to market it here. I got tons of replies like "The K900 is so awesome and great looking" and "Why do you hate the K900, go die in a fire."

The question was not "what cars do you hate." The question was:

See, that answer makes total sense. The K900, while I agree is very nice and decent looking, is a $60,000 Kia. Cadillac already has enough of a struggle with their reputation, what Kia thinks they're going to do when they're famous for cheap econoboxes is beyond me.

The interior was a HELL of a lot nicer than contemporary Chrysler/Dodge vans, though Chrysler/Dodge caught up with the 2011 redesign. That's about the only thing it had going for it. They didn't even have the stowable seats in the second row.

My friend's dad owns a 2010 Grand Caravan SXT and the interior doesn't seem too bad. Nothing that would be out of place in a mainstream brand's minivan. Of course, I probably shouldn't be a judge on this because I don't think a 2009 Avenger R/Ts interior is that bad.

I still hate that fucking shifter location in the minivan though. Column or console, not this halfway dash mounted BS.
