My dad just took an S600 in on trade, 1994. $800. I told him to put paper on it for me, hopefully he beat all the other vultures. Owned by a meticulous 93 year old man, binder of service records in the glovebox. EDIT: Shit indeed, someone already dropped paper on it. FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

Man, nothing ever beats an $800 car. That's a magic number when it comes to buying a cheap car, that was normally much more expensive. My family has had several of these deals. Let's see:
My 2000 Infiniti I30, my mom's '99 Durango, '99 Jaguar XJ8 Vanden Plas, and 1976 Jaguar XJ6L. All of them $800, and all of them very nice, loaded, with leather seats, and so many features. The '99 Jag doesn't run, due to some issue with the timing chain, and we had to sell the '76, but still, $800 cars are the best cars.

I think maybe that is what happened. Doesn't matter to the dealer, it was on the wholesale lot for 5 minutes!

Often a good thing when you can avoid the mother in law, or so I hear from my married friends.
