I just took those rims off my Z because one was bad, I have to get rid of them now. Looks like a 71/72.

That reminds me I need to have my grille blasted and then I can repaint it, its all fugly. The Rebello motors are on a long wait now, I just rebuilt mine, 5 speed and did the triple carbs. Its pretty fun as it is.

Yep, it was a '72. Those mags came on the car when I dragged it out of a field for $700. Took me a whole weekend to polish them, but they were still round & held a nice shine.

I thought the same thing, haha. Mine's all covered in crappy overspray... I'll be hopping up the L28 that came with my 240 in the next year or so.

Enkei Comps is what they are, I like them. Real Watanabes are $$$, these are very well made though, high test rating.

I wouldn't say there are millions of good wheel in the style that fit the Z, I had a hard time finding any that were very well made or didn't cost a fortune, real Watanabes are $4200 or something a set. I go to Japan and I checked, too much. Most now only come in all shiny metal finish and gunmetal, BUT the gunmetal have a polished rim, which I hate. I found that some used to come in all gunmetal and are now discontinued. So find a used set or nothing. They aren't the lightest, but they are rated very tough, Enkei supplies F1 teams McLaren's this year are really cool. I will say the finish and quality just looking at them in my living room is really nice, beautiful.

Well I guess by billion I meant about 6... But yeah watanabes = $$$$ I like the enkeis but good wheels are gonna take some time for me to get a hold of. Lots of other doings that need done
