So we recently replaced the brake rotors and pads on the cobalt and now that everything is on there is a noticeable pull to the left whenever your press the brakes. any guesses what could cause this? Before we replaced them they wouldn't pull they were just grinding. Now no grinding but they pull.

check the caliper slide pins. Make sure they are lubed

Did you grease the caliper pins?

Did you bleed the lines to get rid of excess air? It sounds like maybe one piston is getting more fluid/power assistance than the other?

is some kind of adjustment screw or something of that nature you need to mess with? My rear brakes have a screw/bolt that seats them in the rotor correctly.

I'm with EL_ULY, was the wear on the old pads uneven like say, the ones on the right had a lot more material or the inner pad had less wear than the outside? I'd say either the pins are sticking or you might have something else up with the calipers...

EL_ULY is right. Check the slide pins. If you didn't pull the lines, they shouldn't need to be re-bled.

Well on the right side the inner pad was worn more than the outer but I didn't see the left side done cause I was at work and I doubt the slide pins were lubed because even though I bought the lube my wife's dads friend thought I just wasted $1.95

You might have some binding on the slide pins. The reason I asked about the uneven wear is because it sounds like you might only have one pad on the right side doing most of the work on the right side while both pads are grabbing on the left. This will also conveniently explain the pulling to the left you described...
I could very well be wrong but its the cheapest, easiest potential fix that seems to fit your symptoms.

Yeah I'm gonna try lubing them and see what happens
