Which kind of salt-covered monstrosities inhabit New England's craigslist in the dead of winter? A surprising number of well-maintained American classics, apparently. No rust buckets here. And as usual no affiliation, etc.
!!! UNKNOWN HEADER TYPE (MULTI-LINE BREAK?) !!!
The recipient of a frame-off restoration, and it's a total garage queen, AKA you can be the first to put a nice patina on this beast. The seller drives it 10-15 miles at a time.

1968 GTO 400/Hydramatic, Matching Numbers
Gorgeous paint, hideaway headlights, and matching numbers. What else do you want? A third pedal, of course. Time for an MT swap.

1970 Road Runner 383/4-Speed, Matching Numbers
MAGNUM on the air filter, and a pistol grip instead of a shift knob. Get your 70s on! This is an appreciating asset that does burnouts.

2400-Mile 1986 Mercury Cougar RS
Low-mileage oddball alternative to the ubiquitous fox 5.0. Pretty cool if you ask me! I like the front fascia. But I'm a 90's child with an 80's fetish, so I'm a little biased.

1976 Cadillac Sedan Deville, 8.2 Liters and 190 Horsepower
What was going on in Cadillac's engineering department during 1976? Squeezing less than 200 horsepower from over 500 cubic inches of displacement. Yikes! What would ze Germans say? "Nein!!" Nevertheless, these iconic land yachts are a still a good laugh. 13k is a little much for this boat, though it has undergone an $8000 restoration,

Custom 1977 Dodge B200 Maxi Van
Airbrushed tigers? Wood paneling? Orange fabric seats? CUSTOM paper towel dispenser! What!?

1968 C10 Stepside
Blue on Blue! A classic truck you could daily drive, or make into your next hot rod. I'd go with the latter! Needs air suspension and more horsepower.

1932 Ford 5 Window Coupe Hot Rod
Tastefully done, 289 power with and automatic transmission. It's nice to see someone use a Ford powerplant instead of the usual SBC.

the camaro is nice, wonder what rear end is in it because it has some of the components for the rare L30/M20 combo.
The GTO is clean but wouldn't convert it to a stick because the value is in its originality plys those his/her shifters are neat
The roadrunner is just cool
The 32 Ford is my favorite but first this I would do is rip the 289 out for a 327 small block chevy dressed up early 60s correct. It's a shame they had to ruin a virgin 32 firewall to put that motor in it. That's the one thing I hate about small block fords in pre war fords is because you have to butcher the firewall to get them to fit. Only upside is then a big block Chevy will fit in the place of the 289.

It's not an original drivetrain, so who knows.

Interesting that the auto tranny is more desirable because of the matching #s. Good to know! I'm no expert when it comes to American Iron. I was curious about the his/hers trans so I just looked it up - I had no idea "sport shift" was around that early. Very cool.

the ad said the motor isn't but, nothing about the trans, if it was a V8 car is was probably a 210hp 2 bbl 327. without pulling the trans to see if there is the reinforcement ring for a factory manual floor shift car its also hard to tell.

Hurst was one of the first to debut that. Pontiac and Buicks offered them through the factory. Yeah in muscle cars a 4 speed is only worth more if its a factory 4 speed.

Yeah, might just be an LF7 car, but we don't have enough info.
