Nah, it's ok to eat fish because they don't have any feelings.

I had a parakeet growing up that loved fried chicken. It was the only human food the bird was interested in, but if you had any out and the bird was out of its cage, good luck...it would stalk your plate and if you looked away for a second it would rip off a bit and fly on top of the cabinets where it could enjoy its bounty in solitude.
Brought home a girl one time and she witnessed this and started gagging at the 'cannibal' bird. It was hilarious.

got taken out for dinner while working in shanghai.
half blasted on beer and Sake (japanese place) and a gut full of sushi, this plate hits the table with a whole fish and its side is all sliced up ready to eat.
with a renewed grip on my chopsticks and a quick sample to check for yummy-ness, i dive into it like a stray cat.
eventually im at the point where im feeling embarrassed because i've bogart-ed so much of this fish from the rest of the party when the ..
dam thing starts doing the fish flop on the plate.
one of the guys i was with grabbed a pic on his cell phone while i'm just staring at it with my sticks perched above it like.. " stop wiggling im trying to eat you!"
