- Irony is making great time on the back roads avoiding traffic, than overcooking it into a Left 1 and spending 15 minutes digging your car out of a berm while loosing said time advantage
- Sadness is realizing said off on a Left 1 is really just called "going too fast on a 90 degree hairpin on a rural back road and hitting a snowbank", and no enthusiastic rally fans are waiting to push you back on the road
- Preparedness is having a shovel in the back because lets be honest, this was bound to happen sooner or later
- Coffee and Bacon are the only two acceptable smells in the morning. Cooking viscous diff fluid is not one of those things
- Satisfaction is living an hour away from work and still getting there earlier than some folks who live 5 minutes away
Have fun out there people, and be safe!

If those lights disappear, I have nothing to do with it. I think I should put the shovel back in. I really like how my car sounds when the turbo kicks in and all the tires break loose. What does that have for an engine/power? is it the same AWD as a WRX?

Oh wow, you don't use one of those telescoping shovels in your car?

Takes up less space in the trunk, much sturdier and works much better on packed snow/ice:

Sadly, no. Same as the impreza 2.5i.... The Aero model is the WRX equivelent. I still have no problem breaking all four ice & snow tires loose and getting sideways in the snow though!

Yup, the Saabaru is a WRX wagon under the sheet metal. It has an STI steering rack I think.

I have one of those too, but the full size shovel works faster. Basically in winter my car becomes a toy box - Right now I have a snowboard, 2 sleds, hockey skates and stick and a full tool set. An extra shovel is hardly noticed!

I should probably throw one of those in the back with everything else I have... I was shoveling out a few sidewalks this morning though, so I happened to have the full size snow shovel in the back

Damn. I just wouldn't have the room to fit a full shovel into my car without the seats always being folded down.

Yeah, I have the single seat side folded down pretty much always. I don't really ever have more than one or 2 passengers though, so it works for me in the winter.

In Aero trim. There was a non-turbo version, too.

Would be nice if they went with the “Applied F” model for the 9-2x as it meant taking the EJ255 motor.
