So this was interesting. Yesterday on our way to church, I had to make a left turn into the street. I had a a one-shot chance to get into the lane, so I kicked up the rpms to quickly jump in. I then heard a "wheeeee" from the backseat from my not even 2 yrs old daughter. She makes her father proud, *sniffle*.
I can't wait until she gets in a forward facing car seat, because I'm pretty sure that will blow her mind if she enjoys the back facing one so much. :)

It's all fun and games until you're getting pulled over for drifting around a traffic circle in a fox body convertible with your kids in the back thinking it's hilarious....
Not that my dad ever did that or anything!

It will only get better. One of the proudest moments I had this winter was my 10yo daughter looking outside at the freshly fallen snow and asking me "4 wheel drive donuts?"

Well then it's time to teach proper etiquette about how to talk to a police officer then, :).

My first time getting pulled over was for attempting donuts in a dirt parking lot in a fox body convertible with my friends in the back thinking it was hilarious.

As mine gets older, I'm gonna play the game of "name that car", :).

Always a classic. Way to raise her right.
When I was a kid (in the 70's), the game we always played in the car was spot the Beetle/Corvette. When it was a Corvette, I had to try to guess which year. Seems the percentage of the cars that were either Beetles or Corvettes was a LOT higher back then.
Now, I just point out any 'interesting' cars I see in the sea of Camrys, Priuses and minivans.

Thanks! And I bet you're talking about the slug-bug game too...ugh I hate that game. I have a bad right shoulder, and people tend to punch me in that shoulder a lot during the game, :/. Personal/family rule, no punching allowed for that game. Just ask my sister. She punched me, despite knowing the rule, so I slugged her one back. She learned her lesson, :).
My wife and I used to play a game where we spot our model car, a '08 pt cruiser. With bonus points if you can find the car's doppelgänger.
