Guys I found the very first Porsche for sale! Mr. Slate, Fred Flintstone's boss bought this one after screwing the quarry crew out of their Christmas bonus. Obviously the base model, as it had wooden wheels instead of the highly durable stone rollers favored by most manufacturers of the time.

Can't say I've ever seen that done before. It is a clever alternative to a set of junkyard wheels.

Certainly did not run when parked. What's left to restore? You'd just end up with Frankencar ... keep walking.

It did run when parked, but since then has been stripped of parts.

Buying a donor car is fair - my ancient Volvo 142E was bought to be a parts car. Right down to the driver's seat, which had surprisingly low wear for 70K miles.
