Well, I did it. I pulled the trigger on the nicely modded, but primer-grey 940 wagon I found, and I'm flying up to Minneapolis on the 28th to pick it up.

The other thing is, this will be my 8th RWD Volvo, so... I think I'll be okay. Hell, this one even runs already, and that's a massive improvement over the previous 7...

At this point can you even call IPD sway bars a mod? To me they seem like standard equipment that Volvo just forgot to put on.

Well, given that my last wagon had no rear bar at all, and having driven a 745 with the IPD bars before... I agree.

I remember the before and after from putting them in my 855. It cost less than the Koni FSD struts I put in later but did way more for the handling. I am not sorry to admit going around a clover leaf a bunch of times just to experience it.

My brother's '89 245 had no mods EXCEPT IPD bars and some decent tires. Like whole different car.
