first off thats how you do a f'in logo. THATS HOW YOU DO IT!!!!!!
so I know a bunch of you guys had been doing fitness and what not. Heres my question:
I go to the Y and swim. I do about a 1/2 mile swim or 30 minutes, whichever is greater (kinda sound like a warranty right?) Afterwards I have a choice of a steam room, hot tub, and sauna. Is there a reason to go in one over the other and is there one to avoid? Like I wouldn;t want to go in a hot tub and super relax my muscles and negate the workout.

Do the hot tub part first. Then, skip the swimming portion. After that you're going to want to take a cool mist shower, and steam for about twenty minutes. Once you're done with that, take another mist shower, grab a bottle of mineral water and head to the sauna until your workout is over.

My vote is hot tub. You aren't going to "negate" jack squat. Wet heat will be best. The heat can help with lactic acid buildup.

You head to the weights section and lift.

i alternate between that and swimming. day 1 swim, day 2 off, day 3 lift, day 4 off, repeat

I've got a similar schedule.
Monday = Horiztonal weights.
Tuesday = Rowing/Biking.
Wednesday = Leg weights.
Thursday = Rowing/Biking.
Friday = Vertical weights.
Then the weekend for either rest days or running depending on how I'm feeling.

I game on the computer, then I take a hot bath to help with the carpal tunnel, grab a nice healthy Slushee, then it's back to gaming and repeat.
