Would anybody be interested in an Oppo photo scavenger hunt?

How about it? Once a month a list of scenarios, places and other stuff would be released. All you have to do is take/provide a picture of your car in that scenario described. The person with the most pictures that matches the scenarios gets to choose the next month's scenarios.

For example:

1. Post a picture of your car doing donuts.

2. Post a picture of your car broken down.

3. Post a picture of your car stuck in mud.

Something sorta like that, but more. Anybody think that's a good idea?

10/10 would be game if I had a car with me. I can definitely do this during summer months, especially number 2. The 2002 likes to leave me stranded for an hour, and then magically fix itself.

there's a game like this going on in most forums, on m3post is where I first saw it.

I'm game! It's fun. I remember seeing something pretty easy like "post your car in a McDonald's drive thru" and than something a little harder like "post your car next to a ferrari during the sunset!"

Yup, I first found it on Audizine. But it's really dead, and only B5 A4's participating. I thought it would be fun to have all sorts of Opponauts with all sorts of cars playing.

Awesome! Curious, how do you wanna do this? We could do one thread but I feel like that would just get buried and no one would really play, but if we have multiple new threads that may bother the mods/people not interested in it.

What if you started a thread tomorrow with a challenge, the first to successfully accomplish it picks the new challenge and starts a post for it the next day?

That's a good plan! I don't really care to get eaten by the mods, so it's probably a good idea to have it done one by one. When do you think the high hours are around these parts?

Hmmm, I usually just hop on oppo on my phone occasionally throughout the day, so I'm not really sure. I say you just post it around lunch time, so that way people have time in the day to go out and complete the challenge.

I'm almost never on from 10-4 though. I can probably schedule something for I don't know 11 or something in the afternoon maybe. Think that's a good time?

Few questions, though:

1. Do all the pictures have to be of the same car?

2. Do the pictures have to be current (i.e. someone posts the parameters and the pictures have to be ones taken after the post)? For example, I have pictures of my car that broken down in 2003.

I really do hope it does also! They're also easy to revive if somebody doesn't post a new challenge. We should also keep a common tag so people can follow it. If it picks up, a sub blog would be cool.
