Ha! They are too small for my taste, but they're herders and used to be hunters. Gotta respect those genes. There are plenty of other dogs breeds that were bred for sitting on laps for your cat metaphor.

I've had three bulldogs and I can't go back to a normal dog, I had Labs growing up. They have huge personalities and don't give a shit that you want them to obey you. I respect them for that!
