And pretty cool. Very impressive camouflage by this octopus. Seeing a bright blue animal appear out of nowhere like that would probably result in a code brown moment. Especially since it looks like it gets bigger as it turns blue.

Octopuses and other cephalopods (squid, cuttlefish, etc.) are very intelligent and use their ability to change color for a number of reasons. They display emotion, communicate, and use it for camouflage. Very cool gif.
