Have the audacity to drive a Boss 302 Laguna Seca as their only car in the winter. Then again, when you're rich as all hell and given unlimited monies from your parents...

Not sure if I should congratulate the student, call him an idiot, be incredibly jealous, or all of the above. At least it reminded me that the S197 Gen II body style still looks good...

There are a whole bunch of Taiwanese students at my school that get paid by their government to go to school here. Some get paid more than $100k per year of study, and as a result drive hugely expensive cars with the leftovers.

Dang, I was hoping to read down the comments and there be something about him actually having winter rubber. That's some balls he has, or he could be in a bit of a pickle like myselft last winter. Car comes with summer only and in KC where i had just moved for a job, well it snowed.. a lot last year (I come from AZ so any snow is tons of snow lol). Had to slide around to work when I had no choice, but got rides from coworkers when it was bad. At one point the temp hit -15 and I just didn't know what the actual fuck to do.. I was basically playing Disney on Ice on the freeway at 45. Took one time of that for me to pay for someone to pick me up and take me to work. Point being, sometimes you gotta make do. Because racecar?

To me it's that the 2013 and 2014 front fascias are too similar across the range. If I had a boss I would want it to look special. The previous years were easily recognized.

Exactly - it's the more subtle, down tipped hood and grill on the 2012 that make the car, both front and profile view. It's like they gave the 2013 silicone injections to the grill/hood.

By the way if that's on stock tires I can't imagine how bad it is in the snow. I have heard the stock tires on it aren't very good in the wet.

I'm still in disbelief. Ford has essentially taken my dreams and made them a reality. For every single Performance car they've unveiled so far. And there's still more to come.

The GT350 and GT350R might have knocked the Boss 302 and LS a few spaces down my favorite cars list.... What a machine those will be. What an exciting time to be an enthusiast.

I'm personally waiting for the E series cutaway van RS that was leaked on the front page today. I feel that will be the one for me.

I actually made a list of possible performance vehicles and couldn't even reach 12, even counting a new GT (Which hadn't been unveiled). Ford has a few surprises in store. And I would love a Fiesta RS. I just don't see how it can get better then this.

I kind of do wish it was real actually! That would be interesting.

A Mustang RS would be interesting, but I have no idea where it would slot in the Mustang line up.

Maybe some bits for the GT PP and GT350. And the upgraded version the 2.3 the Focus RS is getting. That would be a fun car to drive.

Take a car that is essentially rare and unique and then destroy it. The salt, snow, and poor weather conditions shorten the life of a fine automobile. One can treat a vanilla Toyota like this but not a special Mustang.

It would be a match for the Coyote, which is why it won't happen.

And it still is a top of the line engine from a mechanical and logical standpoint. It's still an amazing engine with lots of capability and potential.

From a mechanical standpoint, it may not have direct injection right now (The engine is set up for it), but it still has some good technology in it like Ti-VCT. I've read about how Ford built the Coyote and they have set it up for the long term. As I said, there is a lot more potential from the engine.

I think Voodoo is considered the top of the line engine now.
