There are cars we like, and cars we want. Sometimes, the cars we want we're embarrassed to even say we want them.

For me, I'd pick up an Aztek. It's basically a rolling survival shelter. You have a tent, a table, the seats fold down flat so you can sleep on it, what more do you want?

I'd also get an Acura ZDX, because I find them desirable. They have a certain presence on the road, and they're rare.

I guess the most unpopular thing for me to admit that I kind of want would be a later Reliant Regal saloon. I like the quirky 60s styling with the reverse rake rear windscreen, the tiny size that can fit anywhere, and how ridiculously simple and basic it is.

I actually like the back end of the A7, it's one of the best-looking ''sweepy sedan'' (I refuse to call these things four-door coupe) on the market.

This Crosstour gives a nice idea of what a station-wagon, North American Accord could have been. Maybe that's why I like it so much.

I live in California so whenever you see a Prelude it's either been modified into oblivion with form over function mods or it's been unmaintained and the paint is a crosswind away from peeling off the roof. Then you have to worry about them getting stolen and having other guys wanting to race. It gets really old really fast.

I would really really like a white last gen Prelude Type SH in white though.

It definitely is. The drop just made it turn from ugly crossover into a stunning thing. I think the body has a lot to do with it as well. The way it just wraps around the wheels and gives the car a more hunkered down look.

I saw one for sale this autumn. It looked like it was in very poor condition and the asking price was (if I'm remembering correctly) $15,000. I don't know anything about the values of that car, but I'd guess that it was ten times what it should have been.
