I drove 1.8 miles from the gas station to my driveway with my fuel filler door open. Take my Jalop card away, I need to earn it back.
But on the plus side, My brother's new car and my truck got dinner together

Hey, at least the filler cap is on. If you left that on the garage forecourt I would of beaten you around the head with it.

I went a full tank once without my gas cap, because I left it on my roof. Luckily we had an old Volvo in our back yard to steal one from.

Nope, you have to drive away with the filler hose still in the car to warrant punishment. I've seen my friends mom do that, and fortunately the pump does shut off quickly.

Meh. Been there, done that. I've lose a few gas caps on my MR2 since it's the first car that I've owned that didn't have it attached.
EDIT - Nevermind, you're just talking about the door itself? Lol, mine's being held closed with duct tape.
