Any Oppo author can ungrey people, only mods can grant authorship.

This is correct. What I didn't realize, though, was that everyone had that option.

Do me a favor: go into that Dealer-Wrecked WRX post, find a decent grayed comment, click the "Follow for Oppositelock" option, and tell me what happens. I know what will happen if I do it, but I'm not sure what will happen if a non-mod does it.
