Since the sudden departure of my S2000, I was left vehicle less in a place where that's really necessary. So I went to my local scooter and motorcycle shop, AF1 racing. They took care of me perfectly, and I ended up with this 2013 SR50 Max Biagio edition. 3000 miles, and fresh everything. So, full disclosure, I haven't ridden anything with two wheels except a bicycle before. So, the learning curve was something I've had to deal with. But that actually wasn't bad. The scooter is plenty quick, feels great, and is very forgiving with two disc brakes, and ABS. I've put about 100 miles on it in two days. And I can't wait to give further updates about my venture into the two wheeled world.

SR50s in general (unless they're Motard) are actually a blast to ride. I never got a chance to ride a fuel injected one, though.

the fuel injection is a dream. I disn't want to deal with a carb

I actually had two First(?) Gen SR50 (2001-2003) , and I could not get the fuel injected one to work for at least a block.

Having owned carbureted scooters in the past, it wasn't being carbureted that killed me - even with the tiny jets. What killed me was that f'ing auto-choke that left me kick-starting it over and over in the cold (or when it sat) despite just needing a slightly richer air/fuel ratio to run.

It's a Piaggio Typhoon 4-stroke.
