I haven't been able to get out for photos much lately, but I was able to get the creative juices flowing again with this. I do need to check the MFA on my 7D though, it's a little bit off.
Expect more to come, cold be damned.

I like the first one a lot. Parking garage and b&w. Nice combo. Works really well for the silhouette of the car.

Thanks. I've gone to this spot many many times, but haven't really shot too many cars there. Time to change that. I'll probably be going back to shoot a lot more as I have time.
The only problem is that it's a very tight garage, so I have to wait for no one else to be there, and I have had cops ask me what I'm doing there before, because as you'll notice on the last picture, tons of rubber has been laid up there, and plenty of kids do drugs there. I just try to make sure I'm in and out within a few minutes, and I'm not wandering much. In the past cops have been confused but polite about telling me to go about my business but to make sure I'm out of there promptly. I understand and take the hint, but it sucks because it's not a private garage. There is another garage by me, but every time I drive past it I can't tell how to get into it. I'm hoping I can find another garage, but we'll see. I did find a few spots in a closer garage that allow for some really cool pictures, but the garage has to be empty for me to be able to get into the spots.
I think the wagon looks great in industrial places, so we'll see what else I can find, because the SL looks a lot better out in open and in parks.
Also can't wait to get the stripes put on the wagon, that'll look really awesome in pictures.

That's pretty awesome. I think you're right about the wagon looking great in industrial places. Location scouting must be fun. Damn drug doing kids ruining photo and burnout locations. What kind of stripes? 'Cuda stripes?
